L’Arlesienne (The Girl from Arles) Suite No. 1 is one of two concert suites from the incidental music to the play of the same title by Alphonse Daudet. A French carol, The March of the Kings, is used in the Prélude (#1).

 

If harp is not available, it must be substituted by either piano or electronic keyboard for the Prélude (#1).

 

While other movements are in the original keys, Carillon (#4) is transposed half-step down.

 

Parts No. 3551 are transposed from the original parts which are indicated in brackets, with or without modification.
